Coming home from retreat
Verses on the Faith Mind....
Just back from a seven day retreat in the amazingly refreshing mountain air of North Carolina at Southern Dharma Retreat Center with a our teacher, Fred Eppsteiner. Over twenty of us shared our mindful energy and diligent practices of concentration and insight in precious silence.
The Dharma talks were based on, “Verses on the Faith Mind” or “Verses on the Trusting Mind”. Each verse is a clear arrow pointing to the way of enlightenment. It is repetitive and exact. The author relentlessly urges us to know our awakened reality mind NOW in this present breath. This sentiment is palpably reflected in our teacher Fred Eppsteiner. His firm, gentle encouragement and patience are unfailing as is his trust that living an awakened life is possible for each of us. His greatest teaching is the way he is living Dharma in his own human life existence with all its guaranteed, continuous change.
The Dharma talks will soon be freely available on http://www.floridamindfulness.org
In the meantime there are many, many other Dharma talks already posted on the Florida Community of Mindfulness website for anyone wanting to listen.
